footnote on Wells

Our May holiday took us to the city of Wells. I wanted to see, and let deb see, the gardens of the Bishops Palace.

I was a bit disappointed, the gardens were not yet in full bloom.

Last week we watched Antiques Roadshow -- and it was presented from the Bishops Palace.

With some shots of gardens in full bloom.In perfect weather. Plus a chat with the actual Bishop of Bath and Wells. Amazing. If looked as beautiful as described in the book which inspired our visit.

I'm so pleased that Deb has now seen that garden as it was meant to be :-)
