we're walking in goring, hear a womans loud voice.

i know that voice, i think. but who?

later, in woodcote.

chatting to a woman outside the polling booth. again, the familiar voice.

oh yes...

its the tone and accent of mrs basil fawlty :-)

so she was not just being loud. she was using an accent appropriate to the area. amazing.

and now we are here. south of england. within shouting distance of torquay. and learning something new.
