henge or not

Drove Cottage Henge is said to be an easy walk from Drove Cottage

set Google maps to the Henge and it leads us in circles. With every circles leading to Priddy...

set it for the Cottage and it leads us to the Hunters Inn. Which is closed.

A nearby Lane has a meter box with drove Cottage written on it. but no Cottage.

The Lane leads to a farm but no sign of a Henge.

we give up and drive home.

some later reading of Google... enter the farm, over the locked gate, cross the yard and fields... I'm glad we didn't.

especially since the Henge has no stones, just a ditch. which has been ploughed into near invisibility.

cross that off our Todo list:-)

Deb is a bit annoyed at the Henge. She did all the driving in circles.

we stay home for dinner. so relaxing:-)
