i had the promised enema. not as bad as i expected... except for the resultant passing of several large boulders. the good news: the catheter was immediately removed. so i can now leave whenever i want... just have to sneak past the guard posts...

finally, a dilemma is resolved.
this may seem gloomy. its just one of those things to consider:
i have a terminal illness which -- i hope -- will allow me time to decide where to go for the final death scene. the major choices are home or hospital.
well... after the last few days the choice is obvious. if i know that i am soon dying... there is no way that i will choose to spend my last few days in a miserable hospital. sorry deb... youll just have to change the sheets.
dilemma resolved. and thats something to be glad about :-)
now back to planning my escape...
