sunday /Swan

more tech challenges :-)
im typing on my phone. the coronation concert will start soon. deb would like to watch it. why not on the tv? we're in the Swan Hotel in Wells and their tv failed, just yesterday. no bbc1 no bbc2. so... no live concert.
but...
it just happens that i have a bbc account. i set it up on our last trip to uk.
so after some fiddling... we can watch the concert live. on my tablet. so im typing on my phone. no worries, it works:-)

were still spread out in croft cottage... just this one night in wells.
i wanted to see wells. rather than drive in, rush round, rush home, tonight we sleep in the Swan Hotel in Wells.

from the cottage its just a ten minute drive. plus half an hour circling round one way roads.
deb spots a parking sign. thats it, we park, phew. its a farmer who charges four pounds for all day parking. good for him, good for us, its a five minute walk to the bishops palace. thats what were here to see.
weve been asked why we came to this part of the world/ country...
i read a book. a travel/romance story. romance while driving. i just wish that my own journals were as well written as that book;-) it made me want to visit all those places (and of course i bring my own romance with me:-)
deb liked the thought of england and its gardens in spring. so. here we are.

today: we pack one case for the night. park on the farmers field. walk to the bishops palace.

ill break here. before i go cross eyed from using this tiny screen. too late!
