to the Finish !

Today -- at last -- I made it to the Finish of the City to Surf :-)

Deb comes home mid-afternoon. Nice to see her :-) And there is plenty of time for a rest followed by a run. We go to City Beach.

Deb goes for a 5km run round the suburb. I walk to the oval -- to the oval where the C2S finishes. There is a strange feeling of... satisfaction.

I walk round the oval. Stroll round the nearby carpark. Round the oval again... across the area where actual finishers, finished.

Made it!

Better late than never !

And you know which meaning of "late" that I'm using there :-)
